I’ll love you, dear, I’ll love you till China and Africa meet and the river jumps over the mountain and the salmon sing in the street.
The river–two, actually–jumped over the mountain and drowned the streets of my city three weeks ago, and I’ve been missing in blogging action as a result. But we’re reclaiming “normal,” in a way, friends, although forever changed by those singing salmons. If you want to catch up on what we’ve been up to over the past three weeks, I’ve summarized it on Nothing By The Book thus:
unLessons from the Flood: We are amazing–the story of the YYC flood and clean up, with some perspective thrown in
“Is everything back to normal, Jane?”–the first, unsuccessful, attempts to move into a post-flood normal
“Where have you been, Jane?”–the first week post-flood
